PLACING AN ORDER

There is no contract or subscription involved. You order what you want, when you want. Orders must be placed by 9:00am on Saturday for delivery or pickup on Monday. No new orders, order cancellations, or order modifications will be accepted after this deadline.

 

Delivery & Pickup Terms

DELIVERIES

We offer a flat rate of $10 for deliveries. Deliveries are made between 9:00am and 2:00pm on Mondays.

  • Minimum order of $55 excluding delivery fee.

  • Delivery address must be located within boundaries indicated on map image below.

  • Home delivery customers must provide their own cooler and ice packs on their porch to accept their delivery.

  • Business delivery customers must have their own cold storage on site and be able to accept deliveries throughout our delivery window.

  • Home delivery customers who fail to leave a cooler out on delivery day must pickup their order from our storage facility in Richmond between 2:00pm Monday and 9:00am Tuesday. Please see order confirmation email for more details.

PICKUPS

Pickups are free with a $55 minimum order and available from our office self-serve area from Monday at 2:00pm until Tuesday at 9:00am. We are located at 921 Marina Way South, Suite J, Richmond, CA 94804 and pickup details are sent to you with your order confirmation.

1. do you offer meal plans or packages?

No. To put it simply, we are a catering business that also offers a meal prep delivery and pickup service. Think about it like ordering delivery or take out from a restaurant! 

 

2. WHEN CAN I ORDER/WHEN IS THE ORDER DEADLINE?

The new menu is posted weekly on Tuesdays. Orders close 48 hours before delivery OR when the menu is sold out. That gives you 4 day, until 9:00am on Saturday morning, to place your order for delivery or pickup on Monday.  

3. CAN I PICKUP MY ORDER?

Yes! Free pickups are available in Richmond. Please scroll up to the “PICKUPS” section to learn more. 

4. WHAT'S YOUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY?

Our land animal proteins are organic and pasture-raised whenever possible. Our sea animal proteins are always sustainably wild-caught. Our produce is seasonal and organic. All of our meals are gluten free or gluten optional and sourced as locally as possible.

Our focus is food that contains no refined sugars, artificial flavors, preservatives, or GMO. We are all about quality and freshness. Nearly everything we prepare for you, from our seasoning blends and batters to our dressings and marinades, is made in-house from scratch. Sometimes, we collaborate with local food artisans and vendors to offer unique menu items. But, we always make sure their values are in line with ours FIRST!

  

5. HOW MUCH FOOD DO I GET AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? 

Pricing for each item is available on our order form. Our complete meals are priced depending on your choice of protein starting at $11.95 for vegetarian (vegetables, beans, legumes, and lentils) and increasing in price accordingly for tofu, chicken, beef, fish, lamb, or seafood. They feature a minimum of 5 ounces of protein and range from 400-750 calories depending on the dish and any selected add-ons. All salads feature a minimum of 4 ounces of protein and a maximum of 550 calories. Alternatively, you can order food by weight and pay for fully prepared proteins, vegetables, and miscellaneous items by the ounce. This gives you maximum control over how much food you will receive and gives you more bang for your buck.

6. Do you offer meals that fit my dietary needs?

Given the structure of our menu, and quality of our food, it’s easy for our customers to create an order that is perfectly in line with their needs.

 

7. HOW LONG WILL MY MEALS LAST?

There are many factors that influence how long your food will last including personal preference. We do not use preservatives in our dishes and we prioritize fresh (not frozen) ingredients. Here are some tips to get the most out of your order:

  • If you order a salad, seafood, or any dish containing raw ingredients, you should consider consuming that first.

  • Your meals will remain fresh for up to 5 days from delivery, depending on the ingredients, if they are stored in their airtight containers at food safe temperatures. The more often you expose the food to air, light, or changes in temperature, the faster it will spoil.

  • All of our meals are prepared at the same time so none is more fresh than the other.

  • We do not recommend freezing our meals. Doing so will compromise the texture, taste, and quality of the dish.

 

8. HOW DO I REHEAT AND SERVE MY MEALS?

We find this to be a matter of personal preference particular to each dish, but we do offer the following recommendations:

  • Use the oven, toaster oven, or stovetop when available, as opposed to the microwave, to reheat your meals.

  • If you use the microwave, transfer your meal to your own plate or bowl for reheating. Although the containers we package your meals in are food grade, BPA-free, and microwave-safe, we believe plastics should be heated only as a last resort.

 

9. what do i do with the containers my food arrives in?

You may reuse or recycle them.

 

10. HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MENU CHANGE?

The menu is never exactly the same!
