In 2009, Chinue Fields, founder of Eat Suite Catering, began sharing photos of her culinary creations via social media in the hopes of inspiring others to play with and learn about food. Pretty soon, she had folks asking her for recipes and cooking lessons. And eventually they started asking her to cook for them. Well, with a team of talented women behind her, she's doing it!
Chinue is a California born and raised queer, Black, femme. Her food is fresh, flavorful, and made with locally-sourced ingredients which are always grown and harvested sustainably and humanely. Eat Suite dishes are paleo-inspired but not in an elitist, "good food, bad food" sorta way. If it grows in the ground, thrives in the sea, or lives off the land, you can find it on the Eat Suite's menu!
